Our Story
Merely six months before they met, Maddie moved to the United States with her dream, very little English, and a smile, trying to find her way in a new country. Meanwhile, Michael moved back to Denver, Colorado, after his two-year stint living abroad in New Zealand.
Shortly after their arrival, the couple found themselves at a house party in April 2022. With Michael's little Spanish and Maddie's developing English, they started a friendship, which turned into a relationship and led to a proposal.
These inseparable love birds got married in
Colombia on Aug 19th, and in
Denver on September 7th, 2023
What we do together...
Travel
We believe travel and experiences are the perfect way to strengthen relationships and create lasting memories. So far, we've toured Hawaii in a helicopter, walked around San Francisco, gambled in Las Vegas, honeymooned in Puerto Rico, and pretended to be tourists in our home, Colorado!
Story Telling
Maddie studied film production in college, while Michael has been a writer since his earliest days. Together, we love a good story. Whether on a movie on the big screen, supporting local actors at the theater, or a scary story at night, we love hearing and telling stories all the time.
